When I worship
When I worship myself…
I become lazy and live life in the present without a vision or a plan. Its not that i’m a bad planner, I just use my energy to plan around my idol of comfort.
I become scared and don’t want to risk failure and embarrassment. I spend my energy trying to preserve my idol of security.
When I worship Jesus…
He destroys my idols and gives me something better. Himself.
